Paul's advice from his experience in journalism was very helpful as the Friends of the NYS Newspaper Project planned to celebrate the microfilming of the 1 millionth page of NYS newspapers. He was a man of many talents and will be missed.

It was a pleasure to work with such a witty man who wrote extremely well. We met at The Capital in Annapolis. My condolences to his family.

Paul was a dear friend and colleague. He was always congenial and willing to help with any of my technology questions, or with planning research units with my students, or with advice concerning the management of the Frankfort Free Library, etc., etc. He was a man not only of considerable intellect, but also of profound wisdom. He will be deeply missed by all of us in the Frankfort-Schuyler School District. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of his family. May God give you the strength and comfort to bear his passing. Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.
