ALBANY - Albert Nicholas Pasinella passed away at Saratoga Hospital, on November 20, 2025. He is survived by his son, Brett Nicholas Pasinella (Alison); stepsons, Curtis Smith (Kim), and Jason Smith (Sarah); and his granddaughter, Imogen "Immi;" and step-grandchildren, Connor, Dylan, Andrew, and Hannah. He is also survived by his sisters, Fran Bliss, Jane Mamone, and Betty Reohr; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his wife, Betsy (Watrous) Pasinella; his parents; brother, Louis Pasinella; and sisters, Mary Cioffi, Inez Pasinella, Rose Pasinella, and Angela Hulihan.
Al was a graduate of CCHS class of 1961 and earned a Bachelor of Science at SUNY Buffalo and completed graduate work at Russel Sage College in Health Science Administration.
He worked as Administrator of Cohoes Memorial Hospital, Eddy Rehabilitation Center, and Eddy Ford Nursing Home.
He had been a member of Cohoes Rotary, where he served on the Board of Directors and was a Paul Harris Fellow. He also served on the Board of Directors at the Cohoes Savings Foundation, Cohoes Community Center, and Cohoes Salvation Army.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m., in the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 3rd St., Troy, with Deacon Charles Wojton officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday morning, from 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
