Andrew Braungard Obituary
SCOTIA - Andrew M. Braungard, 48 of Scotia, following a brief illness, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Syracuse, he was the son of George and Joan (Hopkins) Braungard. He was a graduate of Bishop Grimes High School in East Syracuse and SUNY Brockport where he earned his B.A. in sociology. Andrew had been employed by AAA and made friends there with whom he kept in touch. Andrew enjoyed reading, amassing a large collection of Star Trek books, watched almost all things Scifi, and enjoyed fishing.
Andrew was the beloved son of George and Joan; and the devoted brother of twins, David (Michele) Braungard and John (Joy Galarneau) Braungard, and Greta (Stephen Kinkade) Braungard. He is also survived by the joys of his life, his nieces and nephews, Zoe, Elijah, Zofia, Violet, Gabriel, and Georgette.
Andrew's family wishes to express their most sincere thanks to the staff at Albany Medical Center.
A private visitation and a private memorial service will be held for the family at their convenience.

Andrew And i were close friends for 5 years, he bacame my best buddy when i moved in next door to him at the apt building where we both lived, He will be missed alot, Hugss to the family, God Bless
