Andrew Freihofer Obituary
EAST BERNE - Andrew G. Freihofer, 74, died on his birthday, December 19, 2024, at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, Andrew was the son of the late Phoebe Bell and Charles F. Freihofer, one of the leading family members of the Freihofer Baking Company. He was a graduate of Albany High School, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Andrew spent his career at the Freihofer Baking Co. in Albany before enjoying his retirement, which involved a great deal of world travel, golf and the company of his wife and friends.
Andrew was the husband of Kaphi Lee Freihofer; and survived by his brother, Stephen Freihofer; a niece and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
