Anne Lacy

Lacy, Anne COHOES, N.Y. Anne Lacy, 85, died October 8, 2008. Born in Cohoes and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Festino DeCarlo. She was the wife of the late Edwin P. (Barney) Lacy. She had worked at Colony Distributors in Menands for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Cohoes High Alumni Association and a communicant of St. Bernard's Church. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be fondly remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the loving mother of Edwin P. (Judy) Lacy of Latham, Peter C. (Susan) Lacy of Saratoga, Bonnie Gela and Melanie Taylor, both of Cohoes, Rick (Jan) Lacy of Suntree, Fla., and Timothy (Christina Smith) Lacy of Loudonville; grandmother of Shannon and Jason Lacy, Amanda Anderson, Ben Lacy, Aaron and Glenn Gela, Nicole and Gary Taylor, Rick, John, Daniel, Zachary, Samantha Rose and Cainaan Lacy; great-grandmother of Jack Lacy, Jacob, Emily and Jenessa Taylor. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Marra Funeral Home and at 9:30 from St. Bernard's Church. Interment will be in Memory's Garden. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
