Fitzpatrick, Annette
SCHOHARIE (SCHOHARIE COUNTY) - Annette Fitzpatrick, 76, of Rickard Hill Rd., Schoharie, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, at the Mountain Valley Hospice, after battling cancer.
Annette was born May 20, 1948, in Manhattan, N.Y.C., a daughter of Andy and Alice (Panchookian) Alpoonarian. She graduated from Mahopac High School and later, Westchester Community College, where she received her associates degree. Upon moving to Schoharie, she worked for Schoharie County in Personnel. Annette loved her dogs, was an avid Yankees fan, and enjoyed her flower gardens.
She married Lyle L. Fitzpatrick on November 27, 1976. He predeceased her on January 9, 2024. Survivors include her sons, Brian (Sharon) Fitzpatrick of Cobleskill, and Matthew (Steffanie) Fitzpatrick of Guilderland Center; three grandchildren, Brady, Connor, and Nathan; along with her sister, Adrienne (late Frank) Crognale of Mahopac; her nieces, Elizabeth (Crognale) McCormack and Rachel Crognale.
There will be a service held for family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Annette to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, P.O. Box 40, Howes Cave, N.Y. 12092 or the Susquehanna S.P.C.A., 5082-5088 St. Hwy 28, Cooperstown, N.Y. 13326.
