Anthony "Tony" Doyle

Doyle, Anthony "Tony" TROY Anthony Doyle of Troy passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Edward and Alice Lewis Doyle. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's School and Troy High School and was employed for over 40 years with the Troy Parks and Recreation Department. He was known, as stated so perfectly by a friend and peer, for his hard work, sense of humor, and his fearless dedication to those he loved. He was 73 years old. Anthony was a unique character. He was an avid golfer who thoroughly looked forward to and enjoyed his annual golfing trips with his good friends. He loved and appreciated his wife, Sheila, and was intensely proud of his daughter, Natalie. In addition to his wife, Sheila Zotto;, and daughter, Natalie; Anthony is survived by his brother, Michael Doyle and Shirley Alghzali, both of Watervliet; and Ann Capauno (Rocco) of Troy; the late Robert, Patricia, and Edward Doyle; and Mary Alice Thomas and Kathleen Smith. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his loving Zotto inlaws who will miss him dearly. Family and friends are invited and may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021, at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue. Lansingburgh. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 North Lake Avenue, Troy.Burial to follow St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.
