In 1970 I went to work at BC/BS in the Accounting where Ariel was in charge of the operation. I remember him as a kind and gentle soul. Something must have been right about one of my first job experiences, as I ended up staying there for 37 years. My deepest and most sincere condolences to his family. Lynn (Harrington) Pennacchia

I am so sorry for your loss! I first met Ariel at BC/BS and I reported to him when I became a supervisor and then a Manager and Director in the organization. Ariel was a very positive mentor and I learned so much from him in those early career days. I was so surprised to find out that we were "indirectly" related as my husband is part of the large Jarvis family and Daryl is my sister-in-law. Ariel was a wonderfull man and I remember his stories about his wife and children as he was so proud of them and he loved them so much. I know you will all miss him but his memory and his legacy will always be part of us.

"Barbara, Sue and Family, I was so saddened to read of Ariel's passing. I cherish the many memories I have of him and his ever present laugh. When I would visit he always made me feel at home. May you find the Lord's peace during this difficult time!"

I am saddened by the news but thankful to have known "Rob's Dad." I have many great memories from high school days. As I visited more recently, attending various Class of '71 reunions, I was always greeted with a warm welcome, a generous smile, and a great one-liner followed by a hearty laugh! He was the best! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I always loved my Uncle Ariel's laugh-it was contagious! Although you will be missed, we know you are in Heaven! Like the dragonfly you can't come back and tell us how beautiful it is where you are, but we WILL see you again when we meet in God's kingdom! Our prayers are with you all. To The Goodrich family,
I worked with Ariel for many years in the membership and billing department of Empire BlueCross BlueShield before he retired and I went to school with Scott and Susan. Even after retirement we keep in touch. He was a wonderful man and will be terribly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family in this time of sorrow. God Bless your family.
