Armand Brousseau Obituary

Brousseau, Armand Claude
EAST GREENBUSH - Armand Claude Brousseau, 96, of East Greenbush, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 9, 2024, at home, surrounded by family.
Armand was born in Fitchburg, Mass., the son of the late Leo Brousseau and Cecile (Dumais) Brousseau.
Armand graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Sciences, Boston, Mass., earning a BS in 1952 and an MS in 1954. A Navy Veteran during WWII, 1945-1948, he was a radar operator on destroyers and a destroyer escort.
Armand was employed by Sterling Winthrop Research Institute from 1954 to 1990, and active in the Institutes' softball and bowling leagues. He was interested in sports, and played and coached baseball, softball, and golf. Armand retired as a senior Research Pharmacologist in 1990.
Armand was predeceased by his first wife, Judith Marie Beach, whom he married in 1956. He is also predeceased by sons, Keith and Wayne; and siblings, Roland, Gloria, and Raymond (Marlene).
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Beverly Brousseau; daughters, Sandy (Roger) and Carolyn (Pete); step-daughters, Pamela (Robert), and Melissa (Jerry); step-son, Steven; siblings inlaw, Frank and Gail; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In honoring Armand's wishes there will be no services or requests for donations to charitable causes.
Burial will be held privately in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I have so many fond memories of the times I spent at your house & in the neighborhood. Your dad was a wonderful man. I´m happy he was able to meet Bonnie & have so many years with his family.
