Arthur Archambault Obituary
RENSSELAER - Arthur M. Archambault, 83, passed away peacefully in his home, on the night of December 21, 2025. Arthur was a proud member of the Rensselaer community where he lived and raised his family. After completing his service in the Marine Corps in 1963, Arthur volunteered with the Rensselaer Fire Department, and became an active member of the Broadway Methodist Church and American Legion.
Arthur will be remembered as a kind and loving man who did not hesitate to lend a hand to anyone who may have been in need.
Arthur will be remembered by his two daughters, Tina (John) DuMond, and Lynda Schmick; his grandchildren, Matthew Schmick, Katherine DuMond, Jennifer (Mike) Urbanski, Shawn Schmick, Jordan Schmick, Hannah Schmick and Nathan Schmick; as well as his great- grandchildren, Gabriella DuMond, and Theodore Schmick.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. A funeral home service will be held at 12 p.m. Arthur will be laid to rest alongside his late wife, Betty Archambault, in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
