Dear Kirker Family,
I was very shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Kirker. It was always a pleasure to talk with her and Mr. Kirker during Parent-Teacher conferences. The entire Kirker Family was among the "best" families I had the honor to be associated with during my time at Latham Ridge.

I.was so shocked and saddened to learn of Barbara's death. I worked with Barbara at DMV and she was as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. Truly a lovely person. Please accept my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Penny Tetrault

Sean, John and Erin and all, I hope the pain of loss is soon replaced by memories of Barbara's love of friends and family and visions of her smile and style that brightened the rooms and people she encountered. Her grace and class forged her place in our memories as being of the cloth of the best of the greatest generation that preceded her and that create the foundations for our sense of values, honor and pride.

Met Barbara as a fellow volunteer at the airport military Courtesy Room and am very sorry to learn of her passing on. Her wonderful personality and kind manner made all the troops feel welcome and she was truly a pleasure to know. Prayers and God Bless to the family, though gone from this life she will always be with you.

Barb was a wonderful woman, full of light even when she was ill. It was a honor to serve her here at NYOH. Know that we extend you all our love, prayers, and thoughts. God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so, he put his arms around her and whispered, "Come with me." With Tearful eyes we watched her suffer, and saw her fade away. She was so loved by many, however, could not make her stay.
