Barry Schinnerer Obituary

Schinnerer, Barry J.
BERNE - Barry Schinnerer, born June 19, 1954, passed on November 24, 2025. Barry attended Christian Brother's Academy before he went off to Lowell University to become a meteorologist. Fate would have it that while at home in the summer 1977, Barry got a job with a local carpenter that led him to his future wife, Terry, and the two become inseparable. They both worked for Berne Knox Westerlo School District until they retired together. As a couple, they touched the lives of so many people due to their caring nature. They were often described as an inspirational and inseparable. Therefore, there is no doubt that in death they will now walk side by side for eternity.
Barry was a loving father to his daughter Billie Jo; proud Poppy to his grandson, Theron; and granddaughters, Evan and Serenity. He is also survived by his older sister, Sharon Mahar; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Barry was blessed to have many wonderful neighbors and friends for whom he was always grateful for.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people make charitable donations to the charity of their choice, or perform random acts of kindness in Barry's memory.

Yesterday

I was classmate of Barry in high school. He distinguished himself as an outstanding athlete, competing in track and field events for four years. He enjoyed the love and admiration of his C.B.A. classmates
I shall miss him.

I was so sad to hear of Barry´s passing. He and Terry were extraordinary people who truly meant the world to the students and families they connected with during their careers. My sincere condolences to Billie and your children, they were so very proud of all of you.
