Beatrice Linter Obituary

Linter, Beatrice Neufeld SILVER SPRING, Md. Beatrice Neufeld Linter, 96, of Silver Spring, formerly of Boca Raton, Fla. and Albany passed away October 18, 2015. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Beatrice and her husband, Arnold, moved to Albany in 1947 where they lovingly raised three daughters. Beatrice was an active volunteer for many organizations including Brandeis University National Women's Committee and Hadassah. She held various positions in these two organizations while living in Albany. Beatrice enjoyed golf, mah jong, canasta and most recently yamslam. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Wallman (Richard) and Barbara Siskin (Alan) and granddaughter, Leah Moz (Yasha). She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Arnold; her daughter, Laura Wolf and granddaughter, Sarah Siskin. Beatrice was one of 10 siblings. Surviving siblings are Pauline Spilberg, Anna Kist, Ray Agins and David Neufeld. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held October 20, 2015, at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, N.Y. Those wishing to honor Beatrice's memory may make a memorial contribution to Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse, P.O. Box 2266, Rockville, MD 20847.
