Blanche Tubbs Obituary
GHENT - Blanche L. Tubbs formerly of Knox, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was 95. Daughter of the late Elmer and Goldie Taber Finch. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late, Leonard Tubbs.
A longtime resident of the hill towns, Blanche spent most of her life in Knox following her early years in the Bozenkill – Altamont area. Working hard to take care of her family, Blanche took pride in her little business of cleaning houses and earned a reputation for her spotless completed jobs. An avid bird watcher Blanche took great appreciation for the cardinals that visited.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Debra (Martin Sr.) Dibble; grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Agate, Sherry (Dave) Bathrick and Marin Jr. (Michelle) Dibble. Additionally, Blanche is survived by her great-granddaughters, Katerina (Ryan) Coons, Danni Valentin (Duncan); and great-grandsons, Dylan Dibble and Cameron Quinn; and great-great-grandsons, Cooper and Sonny McGregor.
In addition to her husband, Blanche; she was predeceased by brother, Duane Finch.
Family and Friends are invited to visit Blanche's family on Sunday, December 15, from 2-4 p.m., in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont. Interment will be in the spring in Knox Cemetery, Knox.
