Bonnie M. Rosekrans

Rosekrans, Bonnie M. WATERVLIET Bonnie M. (Kerr) Rosekrans, 70, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 20, 2015. Born in Spangler, Pa., on July 31, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Margaret Yingling Kerr. At the age of 5, Bonnie moved to Troy with her family and attended School 14, the Mary Warren Girl's School and Troy High School. Bonnie was employed as a certified nurse's aide at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham for over 22 years before retiring in 2000. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and was able to hold and see her first great-granddaughter who was born last week. She is the beloved wife of John L. Rosekrans; loving mother of John A. (Susan Tetrault) Rosekrans of Watervliet and William D. (Sarah Geracitano) Rosekrans of Latham; adored grandmother of Morgan, Nicholas, Hannah, John and Emma Rosekrans and the late Elizabeth M. Rosekrans; great- grandmother of Ashlyn Mareigh Rossi. The funeral service will be Monday, August 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet, with Deacon Bill Tatem officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
