Brandon Sherwood Obituary

Sherwood, Brandon S. CLIFTON PARK Brandon S. Sherwood, age 16 of Clifton Park, was taken away from us way too soon on Saturday, February 26, 2022, doing what he loved most - downhill skiing. He was born on May 13, 2005, the son of Michael Sherwood and Patricia Tierney. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Carol Tierney; paternal grandfather, Wrenn Sherwood; and his aunts, Connie Sherwood and Katie Tierney. Brandon was currently a Junior at Shenendehowa, class of 2023. He was a varsity skier, and belonged to the math honor society and the tech honor society. He enjoyed being a member of the Scout Troop 4006. He was a quiet, caring, and helpful person who loved to bake for others. He loved to play Minecraft, Stratego, and laugh with his friends. He leaves behind his parents, Michael Sherwood and Patricia Tierney; siblings, Lindsey (Johnny DePoy) and Aidan; paternal grandmother, Joan Sherwood; maternal grandfather, Joseph Tierney; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 4, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral service on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. George's Episcopal Church, 912 Route 146, Clifton Park.
