Polak, Brandy E. RAVENA Brandy E. Polak, 39, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 28, 2021. She was born on January 9, 1982, and spent her life in Ravena and New Baltimore. Brandy was a 2000 graduate of R-C-S High School and earned her bachelor's degree in business administration at the Sage College. Brandy was a claims manager at American National Insurance in Glenmont, where she has worked for 18 years. Brandy loved to travel and loved the movies. Her happiest times were spent taking care of her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband, Brian D. Polak; loving mother to Evelyn, 10, and Wesley, 8; stepchildren, Ronan and Samual Polak; parents, Daniel and Elizabeth VanDorn of Ravena; sister, Sandra (Steven) Doellefeld of Albany; brother, Timothy (Laura) VanDorn of Shirley, Mass.; niece and nephew, Charlotte and Henry Doellefeld. Brandy was always a loving and devoted friend. She was a treasure that will be missed by all. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The family would like you to consider, in lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Brandy to St. Peter's Breast Center, 317 S. Manning Blvd., Suite 305, Albany, NY, 12208.

I will forever miss working with Brandy. She always left a positive impression with everyone that worked with her. Intelligent, proactive, caring, and respected are the qualities that come to my mind when I remember her. My heartfelt sympathies to Brian, Evie, and Wes. Brian, Evie and Wes, I am so sorry for the loss of Brandy. She loved you all so much and you gave her strength thru this battle. There is a huge hole in my world now that she has passed. I am so grateful that our paths crossed 6 years ago when she became my boss at Farm Family. She always supported me and taught me so much. During that time she became one of my close friends. I will cherish the memories that Renee and I had with her forever. I miss her so much. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I will always be here if you need anything at all.

My deepest condolences to the family. I have never met Brandy in person, but have worked with her from American National in Springfield, MO, for a several years now. She was always very positive and a joy to talk to. I know she will forever be missed. I hope peace will come to all of those she has touched.
