Brian Sheehan Obituary
TROY - Brian Sheehan Sr. of Troy died in Samaritan hospital Monday, June 16, 2025 surrounded by his family. Son of the late John and Mary Sheehan.
Educated in Troy schools, Brian was a longtime member of the CRAB Post in Troy and was heavily involved with the many yearly events. A man of many talents, Brian will be remembered as a handy man devoting his time to the CRAB post maintenance. Following his retirement from the Troy Water Department, he took interest in golf and proudly hit a hole in one at Brunswick Greens in his first year of play on August 9, 2009.
Brian is survived by his children, Brian (Elaine Jones) Sheehan Jr. and Heather (Charles) Pielo; grandchildren, Alyssa, Dana, Charlie, Logan, Emma, Kody, and Kennedy; and great-grandson Maxton. Additionally, Brian is survived by his siblings, Margaret, Cathy, John (Linda) Kevin (Barbara)and Paul (Chris). Cherished companion of Paulette Deyette, and longtime friend of Chris Foley.
Family and friends are invited to visit with Brian's family on Friday, June 20, in the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, 510 Pawling Ave., Troy, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Daniel D. Purcell Funeral Home, Troy.

We are saddened to learn of Brian's passing! Brian was a great friend to my Uncle "Elmo" Paul Connally. What a time it was when you two were together throwing back one or two!! Our condolences to Brian's family!! He truly was a great guy!!! Jude and I have fond memories of The Spring Lounge days!!!
