Rose, Carol A. VOORHEESVILLE On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, Carol Rose (Wilsey) passed away peacefully, at the age of 73, after a brief illness. Carol grew up in Selkirk and lived in Voorheesville for over 50 years. Carol was the mother of four children and nine grandchildren. She always made time for everyone and provided support and love for her family. She has always had a soft spot for adopting cats and giving them a loving home. Carol loved to bake, decorate cookies with lots of sprinkles for her grandkids, attend family gatherings and she was especially fond of watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events. Carol was proud of her career working in the microbiology department at the Albany Medical Center; after retirement, she continued to work at several area hospitals. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Mary Wilsey. Survivors include her children, Matt (Michelle), Eric (Michele), Adam (Janine), and Seth (Sonya); their father, Brian; grandchildren, Sara, Cassie, Charlie, Kylie, Megan, Ethan, Alex, Katie and Leia; brothers and sister, Wendy (Steve), Don (Pam), and Curt (Denise); and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those wishing, may make a donation in memory of Carol to the American Diabetes Association
