Caroline Borger Obituary

Borger, Caroline
SELKIRK - Caroline Borger, 86, of Selkirk entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William and Anna Mary (Smullen) Pausley.
Caroline is survived by her son David (Kristy) Borger and her loving grandchildren whom she adored Alyssa, Gabe, Caitlin and Meghan. She is also survived by her brother William (Donna) Pausley. Besides her parents, Caroline is predeceased by her son William Borger and her brother Dean Pausley.
A lifelong resident of Selkirk, Caroline devoted 42 years to her community through her service with the Selkirk Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Ravena, where she volunteered in the thrift shop.
Caroline enjoyed spending time at Mari-Anne's Sweet Shop, playing cards with friends, spending time with her granddaughters including daily chats with Meghan, and the companionship of her cat, Shadow.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call, Saturdaym October 18, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave., Ravena, N.Y. 12143.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Caroline, can be made to the Selkirk Fire Department, Station 1, 126 Maple Ave., Selkirk N.Y. 12158.
