My heart goes out to the people Charlie left behind on this trip. Such an animated and truly caring person like Charlie will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him. And what a wonderful idea it is to recognize the nurses as a memorial for him.

I am Fran O'Connor's sister-in-law and I got to know Charles over the years. He was a wonderful person, very kind and caring. I hope each day you find a good memory to keep him close in your heart. He and Ed will be front and center in their easy chairs for the Jets season opener chatting on about the game. My deepest sympathy to you Mike and to Mr. Pannicti. I hopy you find peace at this diffuclt time.

I spent a few hours with Charlie in the Whirlpool at the European Health Spa on Wolf road on Sunday afternoons. That was many years ago. He was a heck of a guy. My thoughts are with you.

To Charlie's family,
I worked for Charlie for many years;
first in Albany Gas then in Schenectady gas.
We had alot of laughs and good times.
Especially at the Yankee games and the Giant games.
I'll always remember his good humor and his sense of fair play in discussing company/union problems.
Charlie kept the problems "in the office".
May he rest in peace.
