SCOTIA - Charlotte M. Seim, 89, wife of the late William R. Seim, of Guilderland, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Born February 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Jennie (Travis) Woodard.
She worked for many years at Travelers Insurance Company, where she retired and met her husband, William. Charlotte lived for her family. She loved walking, especially when it meant shopping or heading to a craft fair. Known for her sense of humor, she became a familiar face in the Baptist community, often walking the halls and visiting with other residents. She took part in the crafts and activities there, making the most of her time and the people around her.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Donna (Ronald) Healt, William (Debra) Eggleston III, Richard (Cheryl) Eggleston, Michael (Rose) Eggleston, and Guy (Susan Jacobson) Eggleston; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; and husband, William Seim; Charlotte was predeceased by her first husband, William Eggleston Jr.; grandson, Ryan Healt; her four sisters, Eunice, Dorothy, Rita, Flora; and her brother, William.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Baptist Health, and Community Hospice (Brittany and her team) for the commitment and excellent care for Charlotte.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, N.Y. 12205. On Thursday, we will return to the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland, N.Y.
