In addition there were countless camping, tubing and fishing trips to Herkimer, N.Y. where they mined for Herkimer diamonds with his stepbrothers and beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends. Christopher coached Tim in Little League and Soccer and shared his devotion to the Catholic faith at St Augustine's Church in Troy, where Tim attended religious instructions from age 6 to 16 and was an altar server with his stepbrothers for many years. Chris,

I just learned of your loss from an old Army Buddy. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when my son Aaron was in trouble and Chris said, "that is nothing new, don't be upset, I have been through it all with our kids." He made me feel so much better. Although we have not seen each other for a long time, I think of all my old Army buddies often.

Christine & Family,
So very sad to hear of Chris passing on the 8th, but know that he is in a better place smiling while looking down on all of you. Wish I would have had the chance to have one last meal and beers at Crabby's with you both and your other AR-MEDCOM friends. I first met Chris at the CRC at Ft, Benning, and immediately knew he was a great guy. He always had a smile on his face, and was quick to lift our spirits with his positive attitude, the "Blueberry Buckle", or the wildlife photo's he was so skillful in capturing. I will always remember Chris as a great friend, mentor, and compassionate man. It is a privilege to have known Chris, and the positive things he shared with us will be remembered for the rest of our lives...
With my greatest respect and sincerity,
Mark

Dearest Christine
When I heard of Chris's passing, I thought of the missions at the Gap, Dix, Devens, McCoy, Drum, Central America and countless other places we served together. His smile and the way he made a task a challenge was always an enduring quality. He had way of making a difference in everything he did. Chris was Duty Honor Country. My deepest regrets for your loss and the loss to our country. May the O Club in Heaven never close and may we all meet there for one more toast.
God Bless

God's Garden

God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious face

He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God' s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew you' d never ever
Get well on earth again.

So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered " Peace be thine "
Then He took you up to Heaven
With Hands so gentle and kind.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God welcomed you home.
