Costantino LaPietra

TROY Costantino LaPietra, 76, of Troy and Port Orange, Fla., died suddenly on September 19, 2004. Born in the Province of Avellino, San Martino, Italy, he was the son of the late Paolo and Giovanina Esposito LaPietra. Husband of the late Michelina Formato LaPietra. He had been employed as a machinist at Republic Steel for 10 years, then had worked for Ford Motor Co. for 18 years. Costantino is survived by his two sons, Paul LaPietra and his wife Annette of N.M. and Vittorio LaPietra and his wife Donna of Troy; grandfather of Cassandra and Marc LaPietra, both of Ariz., and Mia LaPietra of Troy; brother of Victtorio and Gennaro LaPietra and Elena Reale, all of Troy, Clemente LaPietra of Latham and the late Francesco, Pasquale and Emilio LaPietra, and Adelina Reale. The funeral service will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy and at St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated.
