Curtis Wylie Obituary

Wylie, Curtis ALBANY Curtis Wylie, 82, departed this life on September 10, 2011. He was born on April 27, 1929 in Halifax County, Va., and was the son of the late William Oliver and Nannie Lou (Brooks) Wylie. Curtis is survived by a sister Gladys Wylie; a brother Roy Wylie; a sister-in-law Amanda; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his companion Sallie Minnie Carden; his sisters, Ida Mosley, Alice Carden, Josephine Hill, Sallie Smith, Dorothy Powell, Marie Mosley, and Coetta Wylie and his brothers, Henry, Charlie, Kent, Chesse and Jesse Wylie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment Graceland Cemetery in Albany.

PAPA BOO, You are gonna be missed so much, i have so many memories that we shared and time we spent together, I will never forget you...From the time i could walk to the man i am today you have always had a impact on my life, there will never be another like you..The pain is so heavy on my heart, i still dont believe it has happened.....But i will always have you in my heart...
