Daniel Olmsted Obituary

Olmsted, Daniel M. VOORHEESVILLE Daniel M. Olmsted, 68, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 after a battle with cancer. He was born on June 8, 1939 in Catskill, N.Y. He attended Greenville Central School and served in Korea for four years. Daniel was employed for 30 years by Don Millious as a large machine operator. Daniel is survived by his mother, Muriel Cook of Coxsackie; daughter Melissa (Bill) Jankowski; two grandchildren, Nicholas and AnnRose Jankowski of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Don (Jan) Olmsted of Norton Hill and Tuscan, Ariz.; sister, Sally (John) Bogardus Dyce; several nieces and nephews; and longtime companion, Dorothy Allen of Voorheesville. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Donald Olmsted and two brothers, David and Dale Olmsted. At Daniel's request there will be no services. Burial will be in the Freehold Cemetery in the spring.

Dan we sure are going to miss you i'm going to miss you riding around the park mowing the law and watching you take care of your kitties you were the best friend and neighbor we had our at peace now enjoy heaven and when were outside this summer mowing i'll think of you god bless you my friend and to you family remember he'll always be with you in your hearts
