Dear Kay and Girls...
I was saddened to hear of Dan's passing. You were both such wonderful neighbors for so many of our years together in Red Hook. I always remember the long long talks that Dan and I would have between yards. I will always remember the kindness of Dan and you.... especially during the days of Ann's long illness.
I regret not being able to attend the funeral since I am away in Colorado until late April. Remember that I am thinking of you.
Always,
Dan
