Delmorris Sampson Obituary
ALBANY - Delmorris Sampson, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1967 to 1971, passed away on August 24, 2025, at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Albany, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Sampson; and his children, Demetrius Martinez (Jermane Johnson), Delmorris Sampson Jr., and James David Sampson (Tameka Sampson). He also leaves behind his sisters, Marsha Gilliam (Richard Gilliam), Mae Linda Robinson (late Pastor Mackey Robinson Sr.); and his brother, Moses Sampson (Nicey Sampson). He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ekychima Sampson. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, N.Y. 12205.
