Eileen Gibbons Obituary
STILLWATER - Eileen M. Gibbons, 66, passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Mulvey. Eileen is survived by her husband of 39 years, Paul Gibbons.
Eileen is also survived by her son, Brendan Gibbons; and her brother, Dennis Mulvey. She grew up in Poestenkill and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.
Eileen showed her love for family and friends by creating Christmas ornaments as well as holiday and birthday cards. She was also an avid New York Yankees fan. She had worked for the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services and Hertz, where she showed encouragement and compassion. Her sense of humor and fondness for children were welcomed at Stillwater Elementary School. She showed her love for family and friends with handcrafted birthday and holiday cards.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

So very sad to hear of your passing .
We were neighbors for 38 years. Many over the fence conversations and your sweet dog Jenny who had a love affair with our cat Calvin , you will be missed around the neighborhood. Our sincere condolences to Paul and Brandon and family at this difficult time. Sending prayers for peace and comfort.
