Elaine M. Pollock Wood

Wood, Elaine M. Pollock WYNANTSKILL Elaine M. Pollock Wood, 74, died on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at her residence after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Ralph N. Pollock and Marion Dugrenier Pollock; and wife of the late Robert C. Wood who passed on January 31, 2022. She was raised in Troy and resided in North Greenbush for the past 40 years. Elaine was a graduate of Troy High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Russell Sage College. Elaine was an artist and owner of Glass Corner in Wynantskill where she designed and created stained glass works and held many copyrights. She enjoyed camp life, gardening, fishing, cooking and most of all, her family. Her favorite day was Christmas cookie day with her grandchildren. Elaine was an extremely kind woman with a huge heart and will be dearly missed but we are happy that she is with "pop" again. Survivors include two sons, Sean Wood of Troy and Andrew Wood of North Greenbush; a daughter, Kathleen Ratigan of Poestenkill, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
