We did not know Erik but I (Alexi) grew up with his mom Joan. It is heart wrenching when we lose a child no matter what their age. May our Father God wrap His loving arms around you Joan, Marty and family, and may He comfort you all with His Love in your time of sorrow.

Dear Joan, Marty and family. Although we have had a long distance relationship, your family has often been on our minds. The Christmas Season or a trip to Bell Port is not complete without a stop to visit.
Joan do you remember that our son, Erik was named after your son? You see that name and family has always been special to us. May God's blessing unite you in courage and strength at this time. As always we remain your good friends, Raul and Ruth (Erik, Kari and Kyle Jackson.

Joan, Marty, You made us so welcome in the Bronx, when we arrived from U.K. in 1967. Erik, along with Pamela and Susanne were Liz's first playmates in the "New World". We cherish the memories and although we did not know Erik as a young man, we are certain that he was a delightful young person, well loved by Family and co-workers and he was too young to pass away . Losing a child at any age must be heartbreaking and I send love and prayers to the Family at this very sad time.

Eric you will be forever remembered by me as what it is to be a good person an excellent example on how people should treat each other. I wish I would have taken the time to get to know you better as a friend and not just as a co-worker. Many times we had chatted and spoke of building that store-front on the web and yet I never had the time to actual help you get realize it. You will be always be missed but never forgotten. I hope to be as kind and caring to others as you were in life.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Erik's family at this time of sorrow.I was close friends with Erik for a few years at the tax dept.We shared a lot of laughs together when we sat next to each other and even when I was moved to a different location, Erik made it a point to come across the office and visit me on a daily basis.Even if I was out for the day Erik would leave me candy, our favorite gumballs and cute little notes.I am truly going to miss him,his kindness and how he always made me laugh and smile. Most of all,I will miss our talks and what a great guy he was...

My thoughts and prayers are with Erik's entire family during this time of sorrow.

I worked with Erik for a little over a year at NYST&F. He was quiet yet when he spoke he always brought a smile to your face. He never hesitated to help anyone who needed it without a second thought and that is the memory that I will keep most near and dear to my heart as well as our chats about Mustangs!

Not very often do you come acrossed such a fine and beautiful gentleman as Erik. He will be missed always. May God bless all of you. He will forever be in the hearts of many.

We are very shocked and saddened to learn of Eric's passing. We have always held Eric in the highest regard: smart, funny, sweet, generous, entrepre4neurial and a most wonderful Uncle to Nick and Jesse, especially. His lavishness at Christmas was beyond belief- of course, he would always be one of the first to play with his nephews' new games and toys. Our condolences to all those who loved him and will miss him terribly...

I never really met Erik. But as a resident of Forest Lane, I "knew" him as pleasant neighbor, always at the ready with a friendly wave when we crossed paths. The guy with the ever-present bike rack strapped to the back of his car.

Please accept my sincerest condolences at this difficult time, as you mourn his passing.
