Secor, Fay Watson Jr. SCHENECTADY Fay Watson Secor Jr., age 79, passed away on January 20, 2021, at Capstone Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was born in Schenectady on July 22, 1941. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady, and served in the U.S. Navy for four years and four months as a petty officer second class. He then worked as an electrician for the General Electric Company in Schenectady and retired after 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Secor; his four children, Amy (Joseph) Semerad, Kenneth Secor, Beth Heller, and Douglas (Alison) Secor; his grandchildren, Maria, Nathan, Ryan, Shane and Grant; and his great-granddaughter Hailey. Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, January 25, from 6-8 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. at the Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, 1 Mohawk Avenue, Scotia. Interment will be at a later date for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fay's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
