I was so shocked and saddened to find out about Gail´s passing, months afterward. She was a good person and gave selflessly to look after her parents in her the last time we spoke, she was giving me advice on what I could do with my mom. My condolences to her family.

I only recently learned of Gail's passing. I remember Gail from the local volleyball courts and ski club. A very nice person with a friendly smile. May she rest in peace, and my condolences to her family.

It must be said that Gail Charlson was a true friend. Always the first show up with good will and an offer to help out. Possessing sound judgment, if asked about things, her answers were always honest and truthful without being blunt. A good friend and companion without reservations whom I took for granted. Now taken for granted no more. I regret this loss deeply. My sincere condolences.for her passing.

Someone once said that death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside of us when we live. Aunt Gail, I always thought you had an irreplaceable spark inside of you. What an adventurer you were! What gives me comfort is knowing your spark can live on in all of us whose lives you touched while you were here. Through your stories of adventure, memories, and your spirit. Thank you for the love you gave to me, Joanie, and Peter. Thank you for the way you made sure Grandma and Grandpa received the best possible care when they were reaching their end. Most of all, thank you for being a great big sister to my father. May you be at peace now my sweet Aunt Gail. Please watch over us always...until we meet again.

Charlson cousins I’m sadden to read of Gail’s passing. She was a sweet compassionate woman who I enjoyed talking and laughing with at family gatherings. I fondly thought of her as that “cool” cousin. I remember Gail and my brother Bob (Skipper) were always the first ones on the dance floor at wedding receptions and motivated others to join in the fun. After reading about her accomplishments and the remarkable life she lived, my memories didn’t deceive me at allGail was indeed that “cool”cousin! My condolences to all her family members and friends. May she rest peacefully with Aunt Joan, Uncle Bill, Cousin Brian in Gods paradise!

Dear Aunt Gail,
I never told you this, but I always admired your independent and free spirit. Especially as a child, I saw in you an example of what a woman´s life could be, should she choose the path less taken. Now that I am an adult, who is also independent and made similar life choices, I see how much of that I may have gotten from you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being that example for me.
I will miss your Charlson laugh, kind nature, and tye dye shirts. My mom will miss her only sister. I thank you for being part of our family tapestry and wish your spirit to fly free back from whence it came. See you on the other side. We love you.
