Grace H. Muller
Muller, Grace H. ALBANY Grace H. Muller, 98, passed away on April 16, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1923, in Brooklyn. Grace spent her childhood in Brooklyn, later moving to Medford, and finally settling in Albany after her husband, the late Very Reverend Wm. Muller, passed away. Grace spent time volunteering at the Zion Episcopal Church in Hudson Falls and later spent many hours volunteering at the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany. Grace enjoyed sewing, painting, and was an avid reader. Perhaps one of her favorite pastimes was taking her grandchildren to the library. Grace was predeceased by both parents, George and Catherine Gilead; and five siblings, George, Maxwell, Louisa, Katherine and Plymouth. Survivors include her children, Gail (Dr. Anthony) DeTommasi, William (Riana) Muller, Alicia (Wayne) May and Sandra (David) Redden. Grace was blessed with grandchildren and a great-grandchild, Anthony J. DeTommasi, Esq., Allison R. DeTommasi, M.D. (Michael Murphy), Christine R. Muller, Megan L. Aurelia (Travis Witbeck), Brianna E. May and William D. Aurelia. Her great-grandson, Aidan M. Murphy was one of her greatest joys. A funeral Mass for Grace will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, in The Cathedral of All Saints, 62 South Swan St., Albany. The committal service will follow in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Cathedral of all Saints or to the Fort Edward Public Library, 25 East St., Fort Edward, NY, 12828.

Dear Sandi and family,

I am so sorry to read about your mom's passing.
Your mother and father always welcomed me to their home from the time I was five.
I will always remember them fondly & with respect.
I apologize I did not see this notice last week so I could attend her service.
God bless Mrs. Muller and all who grieve her loss now.

Grace was a very fun grandmother! She loved doing things like shopping with her grandchildren, and children, and going to the libraries and/or bookstores. She also enjoyed talking with each of her grandchildren and attending their events such as graduations and weddings.

Grace was a sweet really nice person. We volunteered together at the Cathedral, she was always so physically fit, just amazed me. Gods comfort to her family and friends.

Grace always wore a smile when we saw her at Beltrone. Like her name, she lived gracefully and with good cheer for all she met. She loved her family dearly and was so very proud of all of you. Our sincere condolences. John & Ora Henkes or [email protected]

Mrs Muller was a wonderful, caring woman. I have known her since I was a child in Herkimer, Ny when her husband was the pastor of our church. She hosted my bridal shower at her home. A memory I will never forget. Thoughts and prayers to her family.
