Helen Momrow Obituary
SAND LAKE - Helen A. Momrow, 99, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Helen has now joined her beloved husband, Roy Momrow, in Heaven.
Helen was born in Troy, on March 4, 1926, daughter of the late Norman and Julia Schreiner Lindeman. She resided most of her life in Sand Lake, and was a lifelong member of the Zion's United Church of Christ of Taborton.
Helen was the mother of the late Gerald Momrow, and sister of the late Emma Timber, Elmer, Marion and Norman Lindeman.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Frank) Connors; her grandchildren, Denise (Frank) Bottachiari, Nancy (Jeff) Wood; her cherished great-grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Wood; her sister, Judy Lindeman-Cousins (Ray); and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 21, at the Zion's UCC-Taborton Cemetery.

I am heartbroken today to learn that Helen passed away. I was trying to call her today as I always do when I come up from Florida in the summer. She and I have remained friends for many years and would get together for lunch and catch up on family news whenever I came to Albany. She was such a positive role model in my life. She never had a negative attitude and I felt so fortunate to have our long conversations and always felt so much better about my life afterwards. She will be missed.

Helen was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. We shared a pew for years. I looked forward to seeing her welcoming smile and twinkling eyes. We had a Vermont adventure once that always makes me smile to think of. She was a lovely woman and I'm better for having known her. Say hi to Roy for me. I know you're happy.
