Henry Zimmer Obituary
COLONIE - Henry G. Zimmer Jr., 82, died Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at his home. Born in Albany, Henry was a lifelong resident of Colonie. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1960 to 1963. Henry was employed for many years as a Longshoreman at the Port of Albany before his retirement in 1997. He always enjoyed his daily trips to Dunkin' Donuts with his friends, and also his trips to Las Vegas.
Henry was the son of the late Henry G., Zimmer Sr. and Alma Castle Zimmer. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Matteo Zimmer; daughter, Jennifer Kasparian (John); granddaughters, Liana and Natalya Kasparian; and his good friends, Mark and Ann Winnicki.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family. For those who wish, donations in Henry's memory to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, N.Y. 12204, would be appreciated.

We would like to remember Hank as a great cook and made us many memorable meals!! Another great memory was being with him outside the Flamingo Hotel in Vegas people watching together!! RIP Hank!!!
