Ja'Juan Williams Obituary

Williams, Ja'Juan Leon-Vincente ALBANY On March 16, 2017, Ja'Juan Leon-Vincente Williams was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord. Ja'Juan was a kind and gentle young man with an old soul who was loved and admired by so many. Ja'Juan was a graduate of Bishop Maginn High School class of 2013. During his time at Bishop Maginn he was awarded the Bishop Maginn High School 2012 Varsity Football Coaches award for his leadership. He also received an award in 2013 for Outstanding Service to School and Community. He was passionate and loved playing football during his time at Bishop Maginn as #70. He was crowned Prom King in 2013. Ja'Juan did complete a semester of college but his dream was to pursue and open his own car dealership/body shop. Ja'Juan had a deep love for cars and currently was employed at Lia Nissan in Schenectady as a sales consultant. Ja'Juan enjoyed going to work everyday and had to look sharp for his customers as "Mr. Bowtie". Ja'Juan was formerly employed by the N.Y.S. Department of Motor Vehicle as a greeter who would be more than willing to provide any help when you entered the building. In his short time here on earth, he inspired so many to work hard and follow their dreams. Ja'Juan is survived by his beloved parents, Stacy Estela (Ricky) and LeeRoy Austin. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Le'Asia Austin and Dominica Williams; two brothers, Kayden and Kardell Williams; his father Anthony L. Williams; his loving maternal grandmother, Linda M.Bennett and paternal grandmother, Jeanette Williams; his loving aunt, Linda Ivette Estela (Tracy); and cousins, Anessa Williams and Gabriana McBride; and his godparents, Carmen Feliciano-Rodriguez and Julio Rodriguez. He's also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as extended family and many friends from various car clubs. Ja'Juan was the proud godfather to Ethan Feliciano and uncle to Adan Feliciano. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Carlos V. Estela and Clifford L. Williams; and his best four legged friend, Moses. Calling hours will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Americas, 273 Central Avenue, Albany, New York 12206.

Stacey,

I just heard about the tragedy of Ja'Juan's premature going to God. As we all know, it is unnatural for your children to go first. Know that he is with God and smiling down watching over you. Stacey you are the best in all ways possible, especially a mom.
Love, Mary Beth

Dear Stacey
I just wanted you and your family to know how sorry I was to hear about your son. I understand what your feeling. When God takes our babies home I believe it's the hardest thing that we will ever go threw. I think the hardest thing is we always remember them when they were little and innocent. You have a wonderful family Stacey keep them close. Remember your son is still with you only in a different way. Look for signs Stacey. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. If you ever want to talk I'm here. Love Colleen

Stacey, I am so sorry to hear about Ja Juan. You and your family have been in my thought and prayers. Words cannot express the pain you are going through now. It seems Ja Juan was loved by so many and positively affected so many around him. He will never be forgotten. I hope someday you can find a little peace in knowing that he is in heaven with his other loved ones that have passed.

I only just met your son back in January as I was searching for a new vehicle to lease in the coming months. He made quite the first impression. He emanated a warmth and took pride in his job. He was a true gentleman who from what I observed during a number of conversations on the phone and in person, was willing to go the extra mile to help those who worked beside him as well as the public. Heaven has gained another angel. I know that there are no words that can make this better, but I wanted you to know that he was a remarkable man. I am truly sorry for your loss.

May he rest in peace
