Jack Reckner Obituary
OLD CHATHAM - Jack W. Reckner, 77, passed away December 4, 2025, at Greene Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Ballston Spa, N.Y., the son of the late John and Dorothy Reckner. He was also predeceased by his sister, Brenda Nusser.
Jack was a high school graduate. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He retired as a Machinist/Tool Die Maker from the Watervliet Arsenal.
Jack loved his music and nature, as well as his four grandchildren, motorcycles and playing games and solving problems.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol A. Reckner; his daughters, Katrina Langlois and Shannon Reckner; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, N.Y. 12205. All are invited to attend his services at the funeral home, following at 2 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, N.Y. 12871, on Monday December 29, 2025, at 10 a.m.

We are very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. My husband worked with Jack in the Tool Room. He was very talented and he loved math.
