James Gulnac Obituary

Gulnac, Brother James Clair, CSC VALATIE Brother James Clair Gulnac, CSC, 80, a member of the Moreau Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross, passed away on April 27, 2016, at St. Joseph Center, Valatie, after a lengthy illness. Born in Kane, Pa., he completed his secondary education in Bradford, Pa., and, in 1955, entered the Brothers of Holy Cross as a candidate. He made his first profession of vows as a religious brother in 1957. With an undergraduate degree in secondary education and a graduate degree in counseling and guidance, he provided valuable service to Holy Cross schools throughout the United States, as well as at Fort Portal and Butiiti, Uganda, and in Rome, Italy. A lifelong aficionado of motorcycles, he enjoyed motoring through country backroads. Services for Brother James will be held at the chapel of St. Joseph Center, Valatie. The memorial service will be held on May 1, 2016, at 7:15 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. followed by interment at the St. Joseph Center cemetery.

Was just looking through the Bradford obits and came across Jim's name. I was in the class of '54 and I think Jim was a year ahead of me , Also, remember Joan who was a couple years ahead of me.. Please be assured of my prayers for both Jim and his family.
