Anne and Family,

I am so sorry about the loss of Jim. I have never met a more loving, kind man who had a heart bigger than life itself. He was the best boss anyone could have asked for. He treated all of us like we were special and that I will never forget. I know how hard he fought through all of his illnesses. He was truly a gentleman and he never wanted to give up. I thank him for the years he gave us entertaining us with his stories and making us laugh. He was a down to earth guy and I will never forget the years I spent with him. They were some of the best years of my life. Thanking you for sharing him with us at Career Central. Everyone loved him and we are saddened he is gone. He is up there now watching over all of us. May God bless you Jim and your family. Your were an inspiration to us all.
Love ya!

Anne and all McCaffrey Family members:

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grand-father.

Jim was a good, kind, generous and truly great man. A good neighbor to all. Moreover, he was a great citizen of the City of Albany.

It was a great honor and privilege for me to serve with Jim as one of my fellow members of the Albany City Civil Service Commission from 1992-93, the late Thomas M. Whalen, III's last year as Mayor of the City of Albany.

All who have met him will surely share in your sense of loss.

May your period of bereavement and grief be mercifully short.

May God bless you all.

Dear Anne, Jimmer, Liz, Tommy
I was informed of the passing of Jim by my sister Jill.
We were neighbors on Myrtle Ave and nothing but wonderful childhood memories of the whole family.
Mr. M. would always be out there throwing the basball, getting us prepared for the upcoming Little League season. He had unbelievable knowledge of the game and was always willing to share with the neighborhood kids.
He would always tell us to use his name when I would go see the Mets. Fomer major leager and and announcer Ralph Kiner would give us the best seats in the house, frequently seated next to the players wives.
I was happy to see Jimmy doing well in the hit series Rescue Me and other roles he has played.
Would love to get an Email from any of the family.
My thoughts and prayer are with you all.
