James Olendorf Obituary

SCHENECTADY James Olendorf, 65, of Waterman Avenue, died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at St. Peter's Hospital. He was born in Albany, the son of the late Joseph Nelson and Anna Josephine Earing Olendorf. James was a member of Schenectady Rotary East. Mr. Olendorf is survived by his wife Mickey; four children, Deannine Gaylord of Hawaii, James Scott Olendorf of Rotterdam, Kurt Nelson Olendorf of Rotterdam and Meredith Olendorf of Albany. He also leaves a brother, George Olendorf of Calif. and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday evening, July 30 at 8:30 p.m. at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. The family has requested memorial contributions in Mr. Olendorf's name be made to American Stroke Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
