Janet Beddow Obituary

TROY Janet M. Beddow, of Lansingburgh, died Wednesday morning, January 25, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital after being involved in an automobile accident with her husband William Beddow, who died Tuesday evening. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John and Agatha Golda Markos and had resided in Lansingburgh for over 60 years. Mrs. Beddow was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Peter's Church. She is survived by a brother, Andrew Markos of Cohoes; two sisters, Nell Pape of Ravena and Josephine Zdunczyk of Watervliet and the late John Markos, Stanley Markos, Rose Snay, Agnes Dalpe and Helen Moska; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Saturday 9:15 a.m. from the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 Second Ave. (at 104th St.), Troy and 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 5th Ave. and Hutton St., Troy with Rev. William J. Gorman, pastor officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions to the Mohawk-Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 would be appreciated.
