Janice Marie Valloze

Valloze, Janice Marie COLONIE Janice Marie Valloze died on July 12, 2018, at the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter's. She was the daughter of Giachino and Isabelle (Gauthier) Valloze, born on February 7, 1944. Janice was a graduate of Keveny Memorial Academy and the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, earning an associates degree in merchandising. During her time in New York City she worked for B. Altman, Gimbals and Macy's. After returning to the Albany area, she began her career with New York State, retiring as a senior budgeting analyst. With their Dad, Gerald, Janice raised three talented children. She was proud of her children and their many and varied accomplishments. Most of all, she was happy that they were good children and good adults. Janice is survived by her sons, Matthew and Jerald D. Tremblay of Latham; daughter, Deborah Dow (Matthew) of Baltimore, Md.; their father, Gerald of Latham; granddaughters, Hannah Dow and Kathryn Dow of Baltimore; siblings, John Valloze (Judy) of Ormond Beach, Fla., Edna Chovan (Joseph) of Syracuse and twin sister, Joyce Valloze of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Mary, Marjorie, Grace and Anne. Services will be private under the direction of the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie, and interment will be in the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 2501 Troy Road, Niskayuna. reillyandson.com
