Jeffrey Connors Obituary

Connors, Jeffrey D. WATERFORD Jeffrey D. Connors, age 34, of Waterford, passed away on Saturday May 7, 2016. He was born on September 11, 1981, in Troy, the son of Barbara Hubbell and the late Donald Connors. Known as a fantastic cook, Jeff worked as a chef at the Clifton Park Olive Garden, and always cooked for his friends and family. He enjoyed golfing, taking care of animals, and especially loved to watch his large movie collection. Jeff was an avid sports fan and loved to root for the New York Yankees and Jets and Dale Earnhardt Jr. in NASCAR. He is survived by his mother Barbara (Brent Landis) Hubbell; brother Jeremy (Lori) Connors; step-brother Ben Landis; aunts and uncles, Bill and Kathy Hubbell, Larry Connors, Julie Connors, and Kim Dunn. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Tom and Lexi D'Angelo, and many cousins. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Crescent, 86 Church Hill Rd., Waterford. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held following the Mass at Chrome Food & Spirits, 405 Hudson River Rd., Waterford. Donations may be made in his memory to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd., Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Arrangements by the Catricala Funeral Home, Inc 1597 Rte 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Dear the Hubbell family, Jeff was definitely one of a kind, the world is lesser of a place without him. It's been too long since the last time we hung out and for that I am deeply sorry and regret not keeping him closer. He always had a major role in bringing life and laughter wherever he roamed and it is absolute that he will continue to do so through everyone he knew. I met him through another dear friend, Billy Hubbell, we all grew up together and will be forever grateful for that history and unforgettable memories. Jeff will forever be missed and never forgotten, I myself and my family keep him in our prayers, praying his soul rest peacefully. We will carry him among ourselves for eternity so he may live on through all of us. We will miss you brother. My deepest condolences to everyone in his family, especially Barbara and Jeremy. Although we mourn his passing, we should also honor him for he was chosen by our highest power to suffer no more in this corrupt world we live in and amongst our Lord he shall be.

The world has lost a truly great guy. Jeff had the ability to turn silence into celebration and as turned strangers into friends. His memories will always last and he will be missed by many of his "Zoo" friends. My sincere sympathy to his Mom and all of his family members.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was kind, generous, sincere, always quick with a joke to make me laugh, even dubbing me "LZ" (which has stuck)..Couldn't stay in a bad mood for long with Jeff around.
