Our "Poppy" was THE Most Kindhearted Loving soul ever. He just adored our shepherds- Thunder & Lightning like his own.
Thunder would serenade Poppy every time he saw him outside, until Poppy came over -sat down with both Thunder & Lightning and gave them his Loving. Thunder & Lightning had such a special bond with Poppy that words just could not possibly explain

Growing up as brothers, Jeff and I were always together. As adults we settled on opposite sides of the country, but Jeff made sure we stayed connected through his wonderful pictures and today's communication technology . Now we have been separated by his untimely passing, but we will forever be connected in heart and spirit. To his beautiful family, may he always remain close in your thoughts.

My brother Jeff was the typical "little brother", part terror, part angel...could always make me laugh, wonder at his amazing green thumb & his unbelievable courage..He will be sorely missed..Vicki

Our condolences go out to Cindy and the rest of the Olsen family at this difficult time. Jeff was a very special man. He, no doubt, was a huge flirt as well. He always had a smile for me that brightened my day. My husband and I first met Jeff as customers way back when we had first started dating. He helped us find a suit for a semi-formal, as well as flirted with me. Even though I knew there was a flirty old man working at JCPenney, I still applied for a job there! Jeff touched our lives and the lives of our two young boys in only a way that he could. I will cherish my 18 years of wonderful memories of Jeff, the talks that we had, and his infectious smile. He literally watched us grow up. We all know that he is up in Heaven taking wonderful pictures and watching over us all. Rest in Peace dear friend.

My heartfelt condolences to the Olsen Family, especially Cindy. My memories of Jeff are at jcpenney, which I had the pleasure of working w/ him for approx 15 yrs. Always with camera in hand for picture taking at all events. He will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

There are no words to express the loss of our Dear Friend and Neighbor Jeff, better known as Poppy. We have many treasured memories that will never be forgotten. Poppy had the prettiest flower garden on Teliska with his American Flag proudly displayed within it. Our dogs would see poppy outside and serenade him until he walked across the street to give them some affection.Poppy thought that was the greatest thing while being licked and adored,he was a true friend, one that will be missed by all. we love you Poppy ! My Uncle Jeff was always the best hugger; symbolic of his love for family and zest for life. His upbeat attitude, even when challenged, was always contagious. He will be greatly missed.

When I worked at JC Penneys for 11 years, I was touched by Jeffery's kindnesses and how he made me laugh. I will never forget his humor and his gentle manner. He was a true gentleman and have missed him very much since I left. I extend my thoughts and prayers to Cindy and the family and please know Jeffery had a way to affect peoples lives in a good and decent way..

There are not enough words to describe the loss of our Dear Friend and Neighbor better known as Poppy. We have so many treasured memories of a man who never gave up on the cards he was dealt.
