So very sorry to read of Jo Ann's passing...she, her son Erik, and Michelle at the Design Studio have been such a comfort to me repeatedly over the past couple of years. She was a tough cookie and I only hope for peace for her now and that she is no longer suffering.

Remembering my friend ( of 45 years ) today and always. I couldn't imagine my life without her or the Leto family; so many great times together thru the years. I loved her like a sister and I home that I brought some comfort to her in her final days. Her road trip now is to heaven....Always and forever your friend!

I have not seen Jo Ann in years since I moved from Guilderland. She did my hair for years as a kid and a teenager. And put up with my hair nitemares from time to time with always a smile and a joke. She will be missed. The world has lost a great woman.

Jo Ann was one of the most special people I have ever known...She lit up a room with her personality (and her cooking)...Not only did I love her, but my entire family did as well. Especially my grandfather, Bill Ritz II who passed in late June. We will all miss you Jo Ann, a fighter till the end. I love you so much, thank you for ALWAYS being there. Eric, Scott, Joey and the entire Leto family I am so sorry to hear of Joann's passing.
I was a customer of hers for years at Design studio and saw her through the good times and bad times, but I must say she was always strong, beautiful and a fighter till the end. She is and was one of the nicest people I had the privlege of knowing. She always made time to fit me in for a cut or color no matter when it was, no matter how bad she was feeling, how tired and in pain she was, she was always there for me. She will be missed, loved and thought of often.
Sore high with your wings spread wide open beside my son Bobby and tell him Mommy sends her love.

Jo Ann was an amazing person that I am so lucky to have known all my life! She was a wonderful friend to my mom when she was sick. One of my memories of Jo Ann was when she had up to Lake Cossayuna after my mom passed and taught me how to water ski, it was the best day! She will be truly missed and forever in our hearts!
