Joan Cushing Obituary
ALBANY - Joan R. Cushing, 87, passed away peacefully Monday, November 17, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Joan was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Coons. Joan was the devoted wife to the late George Cushing. They were married 49 years.
Joan enjoyed spending time with her entire family, and loved cooking for them. She loved spending time at the beach and the outdoors.
Joan is survived by her sons, John, and his wife Kim, Timothy, Stephen, Matthew, and his wife Emily; grandchildren, Gabriel, Kasey and Stanislaw.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, N.Y. 12205, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home, Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10 a.m., with a burial at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave, Colonie, N.Y. 12205.
