Stott, JoAnn L. COEYMANS HOLLOW JoAnn Adair (Luce) Stott, 89, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2022, at the Teresian House. Born in Jamestown, N.Y., she was the daughter of Ivan and Arlie Luce. Shortly after graduating from Ravena Coeymans High School in 1950, JoAnn married her loving husband of over 70 years, Horace J. Stott. The couple resided in South Bethlehem until moving to Coeymans Hollow in 1972. JoAnn served as a part-time postal worker in the South Bethlehem Post Office, prior to becoming the postmaster serving until 1992. JoAnn enjoyed being a doting grandmother, a loving and caring pet owner and a Florida snowbird along with her husband. She will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was predeceased by her daughter, Claudia L. Stott and daughter-in-law, Angela Mufale Stott. Survivors include her husband, Horace J. Stott; children, Kevin (Darlene) Stott, Bruce (Beth) Stott and Chris (Glynis) Stott; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael (Megan), Matthew (Amy), Sarah (Tom), Katie, Eric (Tara), Adam, Thomas (Emily), Jenica and David and Ben Andrews; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Harper, Ana, Quinn and Kinsley; sister, Norma June; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Onesquethaw Union Cemetery in New Scotland. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in JoAnn's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York, 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY, 12205.
