Dear Biscone Family; Having known your Family for over 45 years I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful man and I can still remember the first time I met him and how he welcomed me into his home. Losing a loved one is always difficult but loss of a parent is probably the most difficult of all. I know that he will always be watching over you and that he now is beside your mother guiding your paths.

When I lost my grandmother, I found the following passage very comforting. "We give them back to you. Oh Lord, who first gave them unto us; yet as you did not lose them in the giving, so we do not lose them by their return. For what is yours is ours also." My hope is that this passage brings your family comfort at this sad time. best wishes, Tina

Mark and the Biscone family, Kathy and I send our condolences and prayers to all of you. It sounds as though Mr. Biscone lived a long and beautiful life and now joins his lovely wife. Kathy and I have been what our minister called "cosmic orphans", both parents deceased, for several years and delight in the memories of our parents. We often feel that they are with us as we travel through life.

A Toast to my Father
"The one who taught a lot
I love that man like no other
His wise words are in my thoughts.
He died while he slept
So serene, such a peaceful way
When I knew he was gone I wept
But the calm came, soon I prayed.
Here’s to him, eternal angel of mine, Wine so sweet down my knotted throat.
With you looking out to me I’ll be fine. This is my toast in paper I wrote."

Dear Mr Biscone and Family;
In this time of grieving, it may be good to pause in some quiet place and let your mind be still. Consider the treasure of memories that you and your loved one created together.
Then, little by little, begin to know, deep in your heart, that the promise of God will someday be fulfilled. You and your loved one will meet again, as surely as day follows night, as sure as spring comes after winter.

What a remarkable man. I have known him for well over 40 years, and the thing I remember most about him was his smile. He was a friend of my dad's, and a friend of mine and so many others. John was a true man of the people, and his life's efforts reflect that. Generous, kind and selfless. My prayers and condolences to his family.
