Grandpa,
Seeing you go is one of the most disheartening things I've ever lived.. The sorrow I feel in my heart is almost unbearable, but you fought that battle as hard as you could, I would give anything to have you back for just a day, just to tell you how much I love you, saying how great of a father, uncle, brother and grandfather is as far fetched as they come.. You were all of those things, and more, you were a dreamer, a believer and had the biggest heart, when I look into my fathers eyes I see you, I see the fire and fight to be strong, and for that I'm grateful. We're all here living in your name, and breathing your memory, there will never be a day where you don't cross our minds. I know you're waiting up in heaven for us, we'll meet again some day, but until then, rest easy

Dad I can not put into words how much I miss you. I close my eyes and I can see you, it feels so real.. but then I wake and reality sets in and I go back to grieving and missing you. You were one hell of a fighter, you NEVER gave up. I hope you know that in the end you never let me down. You fought as hard as you could for as long as you could. Your strong soul was stuck in a body that was too sick to fight along with you. I pray you are up there happy, looking down and watching Ava grow. She still calls for her pop pop. I have such a heavy heart knowing you are no longer here with us but I am at ease knowing that you are no longer in pain and that you can finally rest easy and put that awesome smile back on your face. I miss hearing you laugh and tell funny jokes. I miss so many things. I feel selfish because I would do anything to just have you back with us. You were the best father, and I am thankful that I was able to call you mine! Until we meet again, daddy.
Love always,
Your little girl~
Jamie

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember growing up with Jack on Front Street. I remember the bonn fires on the ice. When his puppy got hit by a car, kick ball down on the corner. As kids on Front street we were always together. Best street in Waterford.Good old days. Many good memories. Thanks Jack. Rest in Peace.
